By adopting a Sloth you will be making a contribution to their care as well as helping to halt species decline.
Did you know that Sloths can swim? They drop down from tree branches into rivers and are able to hold their breath for up to 40 minutes!
Sloths are currently listed as least concern on the IUCN Red list, but their numbers are declining due to the loss of their habitat and illegal pet trade.

Adoptions apply to the species rather that the individual animals. This is because some of our animals may move to other zoos as part of breeding programmes. If your adopted species moves from our collection we will advise you and you will be given the opportunity to transfer your adoption to another species.
