Come and celebrate our centenary year with your school!
Herbert Whitley opened Paignton Zoo in 1923 with education at its heart, so we want to celebrate its centenary with education too – so for 2023, we are offering free school visits to the zoo.
All of our free places are now booked for the Spring and Summer terms. There is still availability for the Autumn term at both sites.
This offer is open to pupils from early years to KS4 (3–16 years old) in usual school hours during term time.
To make sure we can offer your group the best day possible, there will be a limited number of places available per day so please book early to secure your preferred date.

The Great British School Trip
We are supporting ‘The Great British School Trip’ powered by Hyundai. This is a new initiative that aims to provide schools with financial support to help fund their school trips. If your school needs help to cover the cost of travel arrangements then click here for more details.
