Join us for our first networking lunch!

Network over drinks and lunch before hearing more about our important conservation work in protecting our wild forests.

With the UK government declaring a climate emergency, the importance of the world’s forests has never been more widely recognised. In addition to logging and clearing, recent research shows that the ability of forests and woodlands to buffer climate change is also impacted by the wildlife that lives within it. The loss of key species reduces a forest’s capacity to store carbon by disrupting the dispersal and growth of trees. Therefore, wilder forests are better for the environment! Wild Planet Trust is committed to protecting irreplaceable habitats and unique rainforest species, including forest elephants in Nigeria and Sulawesi crested black macaques in Indonesia.
