A night of mystery at Paignton Zoo

Paignton Zoo are travelling back to the 1920s, when the zoo first opened, for an evening of intrigue with a dash of murder…

As part of their centenary celebrations this year, the zoo are planning a series of themed events, the first of which is a 1920s murder mystery evening. Attendees will be tasked with finding out ‘who dunnit?’, as they turn into crime-solving sleuths to investigate a curious case full of conspiracy and deceit.

Taking place on 24th March, the event will include a 2-course meal and arrival drink for all attendees.  Katie White, Events and Corporate Relationship Manager at Paignton Zoo, who is excited to be planning this unique event, said:

“We can’t wait to run our first murder mystery here at Paignton Zoo to tie in with our 100th anniversary celebrations. We’re hoping people will don their best gangster and flapper attire to get into the murder mystery spirit and celebrate our centenary with us!”

Paignton Zoo plans to continue running evening events in the future, and promises a busy schedule throughout the year as part of their centenary celebrations. On 27th March, they’re also running a members-only history walk of the site to see how the zoo has changed over the past 100 years.

Tickets for the centenary murder mystery are limited. To book yours, go to our events page.
