Egg-straordinary egg-straviganza Easter trail terms & conditions

1. Promoter’s name and address

Paignton Zoo, Registered Charity No. 300923 at Paignton Zoo, Totnes Road, Paignton, Devon TQ4 7EU.

Paignton Zoo, as part of South West Environmental Parks Ltd, reserves the right to amend, extend or fully terminate this competition at any time without incurring liability. We will not be responsible, unless required by law, for any loss, changes, costs or expenses, which may arise in connection with this competition.

2. About the competition & general terms

The competition has been created in conjunction with the Egg-staordinary Egg-stravaganza trail, which is available to participate in between 29/03/2024 and 14/04/2024 inclusive. This competition has been created for all zoo visitors age 6+ but entries must be made by an adult age 18+.

The prize includes:

Entry to the zoo for our winner and 1 additional accompanying adult and the chance for an exclusive animal experience with our Echidna. To participate in the experience you must be age 6 or over. There is no upper age limit. The prize can be redeemed on selected dates only. The prize winner (or parent/guardian), is required to correspond with the zoo to arrange the experience in advance. Further contact to arrange the details of this prize will be carried out via phone / email. The competition is owned by South West Environmental Parks Ltd.

One winner who has correctly answered the competition question will be randomly selected from all the competition entries after the closing date of Sunday 14th April 2024 at 17.00 (Zoo close).

It is the responsibility of each individual entrant to ensure that they have read and obeyed the competition rules. Any entry found not to comply with the competition rules will be not be considered. By entering this competition, each individual entrant agrees to be bound by all of the terms and conditions outlined here, as well as South West Environmental Park’s general entry terms.

3. How to enter

To enter, entrants must correctly answer the competition question on the competition entry form. You may only submit one entry to be considered during the full duration of the competition. Multiple entries from one person will not be considered and will count as one entry.

Employees and volunteers of Paignton Zoo, Newquay Zoo and Wild Planet Trust may not enter this competition. This competition is for UK residents only and entrants must be over the age of 18. No third party or automated entries are permitted.

4. Selection and notification of the winner

A winner who has correctly answered the competition question will be randomly selected and notified via the e-mail address provided soon after the closing date (14/04/2024).

The decision of the Promoter is final and no discussion will be entered into. By entering you acknowledge and agree that you may be required to be used in publicity if you are selected as a winner.

If the winner does not respond to the e-mails advising them of the process to claim their prize within 14 days of being notified, they forfeit their right to the prize, and the promoter reserves the right to award the prize to another entrant without liability to the winner.

No alternative prize will be offered and the prize is non-transferable and cannot be exchanged for a cash alternative.

5. Data protection

By entering this competition, each individual entrant agrees that, if they win, the Promoter may use their name to announce as the winner of this a competition. Your details are provided to the Promoter only and not to any third parties.

By entering the competition, individual entrants agree that any personal information provided by you with your competition entry may be held and used by South West Environmental Parks for marketing communications purposes and for the purpose of administering the competition and the prize. These terms and conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English Courts.
