Go behind the scenes with Lima and Spice
We are offering you the chance to win an exclusive crocodile feeding experience, plus the opportunity to re-open our Crocodile Swamp exhibit. You will also get to take home a giant cuddly crocodile toy, courtesy of Nature Planet.
Go behind the scenes and learn more about our Cuban crocodile, Spice, and our false gharial, Lima. Meet their dedicated keepers and discover all about these incredible and fascinating creatures. Line-feed Spice and Lima their favourite snacks while the experts who know them best answer all your questions.
Afterwards, you will have the option to do the honours of cutting the ribbon and re-opening Crocodile Swamp to the public (speech optional). And you won’t leave empty-handed either, as you will be taking home a giant stuffed crocodile plush as a keepsake of this once-in-a-lifetime experience.
There are also a range of prizes for runners-up, including an adoption pack and a variety of cuddly toys.

The proceeds from every ticket purchased go towards Paignton Zoo’s vital wildlife conservation work as well as the daily care of our animals.
We act to protect at-risk animals and plants from the impacts of biodiversity loss in order to Help Halt Species Decline.
We focus on helping humans understand how to live in harmony with nature.
We believe that every species is important, everything is connected and every action matters.
Every £5 you donate makes a huge difference to the lives of our animals as well as the lives of threatened species all over the planet.

T&Cs
Winner Notification: We will contact all winners within three working days of the closing date. Winners will then have one week to respond to us so we can arrange delivery of their prizes. Anyone who fails to respond within this time frame will forfeit their prize and another winner will be chosen.
Booking the Experience: The crocodile feeding experience must be booked within one week of being contacted. If the winner fails to book within this time period, another winner will be chosen.
Availability: The crocodile feeding experience will only be available on a specific date, which is TBC at the time of this prize draw. To coincide with feeding times, winners must arrive at the time given to them when booking.
Rescheduling: If you wish to change the date of your crocodile feeding experience within a week of it taking place, you will be charged a £10 administration fee.
Confirmation: Please do not assume your crocodile feeding experience is booked until you have received email confirmation or confirmation by telephone.
Cancellations: You will be entering working environments; from time to time, things may happen beyond our control, and we may need to cancel your crocodile feeding experience at short notice. If this happens, you will be contacted via email or telephone at least 24 hours before your experience is due to take place. We recommend that you check your messages and emails before your visit in case we have contacted you.
Age Restrictions: A minimum age limit of 16 years old applies.
Dress Code: Behind the scenes can be muddy and messy, so please dress appropriately. For your safety, closed-toe shoes must be worn.
Mobility: This encounter involves walking over uneven terrain and will not be suitable for those with limited mobility.
Punctuality: Paignton Zoo reserves the right to cancel your crocodile feeding experience if you arrive more than 10 minutes late without prior agreement. Unfortunately, your encounter cannot be rescheduled.
Dietary Requirements: Our restaurant is able to cater for a range of special dietary requirements, but details must be given to us in advance of your visit.
Photos: Professional photos will be provided as a digital download. We are unable to offer a physical print.
