    How to find us

    Paignton Zoo

    Totnes Road, Paignton, Devon, TQ4 7EU

    How to get here by car:

    Set your Sat Nav for TQ4 7EU. Paignton Zoo is located on the A3022 Totnes Road, one mile from Paignton town centre. Take the direction to Paignton from the A380 following the brown tourist signs marked with an elephant (please note that we do not have elephants at Paignton Zoo). You will then find us situated right next to a Morrisons supermarket. 

    • From Newton Abbot: About 15 minute drive, via A380 
    • From Exeter: About 35 minute drive, via A380
    • From Plymouth: About 45 minute drive, via A38 and A385
    • From Cornwall: About 1 hour, 45 minute drive.

    We cannot guarantee parking for every visitor. We recommend travelling to Paignton Zoo by public transport where possible.

    Paignton Zoo has free parking for 1,110 cars on site and some further parking in our overflow car park a short walk away. This is available on a first come, first served basis. 

    There are designated disabled parking bays located on the first level of the car park and visitors can be dropped outside and collected from the main zoo entrance. Blue badges must be displayed to park in the disabled parking bays.

    PLEASE NOTE:

    Parking at Morrisons Supermarket – which is adjacent to Paignton Zoo – is at your own risk. Paignton Zoo is not affiliated in any way to Morrisons supermarket. Morrisons has a strict parking policy and will enforce it.

    How to get here by bus:

    Routes 22 and Stagecoach Gold all stop right by the zoo. For more information please visit stagecoachbus.com.


    How to get here by train:

    Paignton train station is located in the town centre and can be reached from Exeter and Plymouth stations within an hour. Onward travel to Paignton Zoo is by bus (the Paignton bus station is right opposite the train station) or a 20 minute walk along Totnes Road.


    How to get here by bike:

    Paignton Zoo has a free secure bike rack behind the main entrance – please ask staff at the Information Desk where to store bikes safely and they will be happy to help.
