You’ve helped us to Bring Back the Swamp!
Thanks to your generous support, Wild Planet Trust is one step closer to bringing back the swamp! With a goal of raising £15,000 towards the refurbishment of one of Paignton Zoo’s favourite exhibits, every donation will help us get one step closer to reopening the doors and providing families with another space that promises to breathe new life into the zoo.
Why Crocodile Swamp Matters
For generations, ‘Croc Swamp’ has been a beloved part of the Paignton Zoo experience. It wasn’t just about seeing amazing reptiles; it was about learning about these fascinating creatures and the vital conservation efforts Wild Planet Trust is involved with.
Sadly, due to repair needs that weren’t financially viable at the time, Croc Swamp had to close in 2022. However, the outpouring of community support following the recent announcement of our challenges highlighted the exhibit’s special place in your hearts.
What Happens Now?
Work is already underway to get things moving with the Swamp, but we need the community to continue their support in order to open the doors.
