Habitat

Behaviour

Lemurs live in the treetops, only occasionally coming down to the ground. Most lemurs are active during the day. When resting, they wrap their tails around themselves and their neighbours.

Breeding

A single youngster is born after a gestation of 120 - 136 days (4 - 4.5 months).

Captive populations in UK zoos are managed co-operatively.
