Habitat

The original ancestors of this breed came from Africa and are now fully domesticated, wiht many living in manmade habitats.

Zoo Diet

Our goats are fed hay, grass and pellet.

Behaviour

These little mammals are well known for their curious and friendly nature and will often have a nibble on anything that they find interesting. Our pygmy goats, Mario, Luigi, Toad and Bowser, like to stick together and are very socialable.

Breeding

After mating, the gestation period lasts about five months. Females give birth to between two and four offspring, known as kids.
