This beautiful species of magnolia is native to sheltered valleys across the Himalayan region to southwestern China. This large deciduous tree blooms into its iconic pink flower each year in the late winter/early spring.

Interesting facts!

  • The flowers have a strong scent and can sometimes be followed by cone-like fruit.
  • It can take up to 50 years for this plant to reach its full height of up to 30 metres!

Campbell’s magnolia is not a threatened species in the wild at this time.
