Sponsoring a tiger at Paignton Zoo will make a real contribution to the care of our big cats and wildlife conservation work across the world.
Our sponsorship packs make a fantastic gift for animal lovers of any age. Prices start from as little as £35 per year, with three different packs to choose from.
We’re home to two young female Sumatran tigers, sisters Carrie and Padme. The pair joined Paignton Zoo from Ree Park Safari in Denmark, in December 2020.
This subspecies, the smallest of all the tiger species, is listed as Critically Endangered, with as few as 400 individuals reported to be living in the wild today. Captive and wild populations in Sumatra are protected and managed, to ensure this stunning big cat is preserved for many generations to come
How do I sponsor a tiger?
First choose the sponsorship package that you wish to purchase online from the options below and then go on make your animal selection.
Sponsorships apply to the species rather than individual animals. This is because some of our animals may move to other zoos as part of breeding programmes. If your sponsored species moves, we will advise you and you will be given the opportunity to transfer your sponsorship to another species.

Junior sponsorship gift box – £54 (Previously £59)
Includes all items within the standard sponsorship pack plus:
- An eco-friendly tiger soft toy*
- One child day ticket to Paignton Zoo

Adult sponsorship gift box – £59 (Previously £64)
Includes all items within the standard sponsorship pack plus:
- A Paignton Zoo tiger mug
- One adult day ticket to Paignton Zoo
