Our sponsorship packs make a wonderful gift for animal lovers of any age. Prices start from as little as £35 per year, with three different packs to choose from.
Meerkats are small, cat-like carnivores that are part of the mongoose and civet family. These mammals play an important role in maintaining ecological harmony in wilds of the African desert.
How do I sponsor a meerkat?
First choose the sponsorship package that you wish to purchase online from the options below and then go on to make your animal selection.
Sponsorships apply to the species rather than individual animals. This is because some of our animals may move to other zoos as part of breeding programmes. If your sponsored species moves, we will advise you and you will be given the opportunity to transfer your sponsorship to another species.

Meerkat sponsorship pack – £35
- A sponsor’s certificate
- A fact sheet about the meerkat
- A thank you letter
- A photograph of a meerkat
- Your name displayed in the zoo for 12 months
Junior sponsorship gift box – £54 (Previously £59)
Includes all items within the standard sponsorship pack plus:
- An eco-friendly meerkat soft toy*
- One child day ticket to Paignton Zoo
- Due to supply issues, we currently do not have any presentation boxes available. The price is reduced to reflect this.

Adult sponsorship gift box – £59 (Previously £64)
Includes all items within the standard sponsorship pack plus:
- A Paignton Zoo meerkat mug
- One adult day ticket to Paignton Zoo
