By sponsoring a giraffe at the zoo, your money will go towards the care of our giraffes and vital wildlife conservation projects across the world.
Our sponsorship packs make an amazing gift for animal lovers of any age. Prices start from as little as £35 per year, with three different packs to choose from.
The world’s tallest land mammal, thanks to their towering legs and long necks, giraffes are truly majestic animals. We’re home to an all-female herd of six Rothschild’s giraffes, which are sadly listed as an Endangered species. Rothschild’s giraffes are managed in zoos to ensure a healthy breeding population and ensure that this species is saved for future generations.
How do I sponsor a giraffe?
First choose the sponsorship package that you wish to purchase online from the options below and then go on make your animal selection.
Sponsorships apply to the species rather than individual animals. This is because some of our animals may move to other zoos as part of breeding programmes. If your sponsored species moves, we will advise you and you will be given the opportunity to transfer your sponsorship to another species.
Please note that our sponsorship gift packs are only available for UK delivery.

Junior sponsorship gift box – £54 (Previously £59)
Includes all items within the standard sponsorship pack plus:
- A giraffe soft toy*
- One child day ticket to Paignton Zoo

- A Paignton Zoo giraffe mug
