By sponsoring a cheetah today, you will make a real contribution to the care of our cheetahs at the zoo, and our vital work for wildlife across the world.
Our sponsorship packs make a fantastic gift for animal lovers of all ages. Prices start from as little as £35 per year, with three different packs to choose from.
This impressive big cat is the world’s fastest land mammal, reaching a top speed of around 70 mph in just three seconds! But as cheetahs are listed as a Vulnerable species, we do not want them racing towards extinction…
Our cheetahs, Kitwana and Jahzara, are great ambassadors for their species and are also part of the EAZA ex-situ breeding programme (EEP) for cheetahs within zoos.
How do I sponsor a cheetah?
First choose the sponsorship package that you wish to purchase online from the options below and then go on make your animal selection.
Sponsorships apply to the species rather than individual animals. This is because some of our animals may move to other zoos as part of breeding programmes. If your sponsored species moves, we will advise you and you will be given the opportunity to transfer your sponsorship to another species.
Please note that our sponsorship gift packs are only available for UK delivery.

Cheetah sponsorship pack – £35
- A sponsor’s certificate
- A fact sheet about the cheetah
- A thank you letter
- A photograph of a cheetah
- Your name displayed in the zoo for 12 months
Junior sponsorship gift box – £54 (Previously £59)
Includes all items within the standard sponsorship pack plus:
- An eco-friendly cheetah soft toy*
- One child day ticket to Paignton Zoo
- Due to supply issues, we currently do not have any presentation boxes available. The price is reduced to reflect this.

Adult sponsorship gift box – £59 (Previously £64)
Includes all items within the standard sponsorship pack plus:
- A Paignton Zoo cheetah mug
- One adult day ticket to Paignton Zoo
