Jungle Fun
Jungle Fun is an indoor play area which is free to use. It’s open every day from 10.00 a.m. and closes half an hour before the Zoo closes, so please check times on arrival.
Jungle Fun is located under the Education Centre in the centre of the Zoo.
Play areas
There are various outdoor play areas around the Zoo for children to let off some steam. They can play on the swings, slides, tunnels, ropes and climbing frames whilst adults can have a rest and take in the beautiful surroundings.
Clennon Gorge Nature Trail
The Nature Trail is a 700-metre circuit through native Devon woodland. It is an easy walk but not totally flat and is unsuitable for wheelchairs. Lots of animals live in Clennon Gorge including greater and lesser horseshoe and pipistrelle bats, the yellow-necked mouse, emperor dragonflies, buzzards, badgers, water shrew and grass snakes. There are many breeding birds and winter visitors such as water rail and woodcock. |
