If you're looking for a really 'wild' venue for a private function, then look no further. At Paignton Zoo we have a variety of rooms set in 80 acres of botanical gardens, offering the perfect setting for a truly unique celebration.

Rooms and sizes

Whether you need a venue for a birthday party, barbeque or wedding reception our Island Restaurant is the perfect choice, catering for up to 300 guests and offering stunning views of our Gibbon Island, your guests will enjoy a unique experience.

The Whitley Room, adjoining the restaurant, is ideal for smaller weddings, receptions or parties for up to 100 people, and on sunny days you can make use of our terrace.

Helping you

Our dedicated Functions Manager will take all of the stress out of planning your event, helping to organise everything you need from start to finish.

Whether you want a buffet or sit down meal, our talented team of chefs will create a delicious menu typically using fresh, locally sourced produce. As an environmental park we endeavour to use palm oil free food and fair-trade products where possible.
