For the first time in the Zoo's history you can now watch our resident tigers live.
A camera has been installed in the Tiger Paddock which is feeding live video straight to your screen!
Paignton Zoo’s rare Sumatran tigers had four cubs (2 male, 2 female) on Thursday 5th February to male Tenang and female Banda. The public voted for their favourite names from a shortlist drawn up by the Zoo’s big cat keepers with the help of the Indonesian Embassy in London. The winning names for the two male cubs are Aryo (meaning hero) and Bintang (meaning star). The female names are Kemala (magic stone) and Surya – a word for the sun. Sadly though Kemala died in July.
Watch carefully you may see them playing on the logs!
