You don’t have to support the Zoo with money, why not give your time and become a volunteer?

If the answer is yes then, then join the volunteer team at Paignton Zoo. We are always looking for reliable volunteers, and although volunteers do not work directly with the animals, all of the activities they are involved with contribute directly to the Zoo and its conservation projects.

- bird handling support for the bird shows
- research
- animal food preparation
- interpretation
- assisting with animal and plant adoptions
- zoo education services
- visitor services

Interested?
If you are interested in becoming a volunteer you need to decide how many hours and on which days you can commit time (nearly all of the activities cover a 7 day rota) and complete and return the application form.
Please note that all volunteers must be aged 16 years or over.
Please note: Due to the volume of applications you will only be contacted if you are short listed.
In return . . .
. . . you will be provided with a uniform, invited to social events for staff and volunteers and have the satisfaction of helping a local conservation charity.
