Why not meet the animals face to face

There are plenty of opportunities for you to get involved with our animals and our work. Why not come and listen to our experienced keepers as they talk about various animals’ behaviour and watch the animals at feeding time or better still, feed them yourself…

Our animal feeding experiences offer a unique opportunity to get up close with our mob of loveable meerkats and other animals to hand feed them and learn more about them and their habitats.

Even if you can’t get to the zoo you can still get involved and help with our conservation work. The Zoo has a weekly shopping list that includes 800 lettuces, 20 crates of bread and hay by the tonne. So if you would like to get involved, why not adopt one of our animals.
