Short stay visits
Short for time? We can tailor a visit so that your group sees their personal highlights.
You can enjoy a delicious lunch or local cream tea in our Island Restaurant where you might even catch a glimpse of our resident gibbons. If you have a spare morning or afternoon, take a stroll around our lake in the Forest zone to see the orang utans and gorillas; through the Tropics to see colourful reptiles and birds, up to our Savannah zone to meet the giraffes, black rhinos and elephant and you might even have time to spot the cheetahs and red pandas along the way.
Just tell us what you'd like to see and we'll recommend the best route for you.
Evening Badger Watch
Looking for something different to do one evening? With a specially built viewing hide you can visit us after dusk to try and spot some native badgers. One clan occupies this main viewing site and when visitors leave they begin their night-time feeding and socialising activities. You can view these magnificent creatures with the aid of artificial moonlight.
