Paignton Zoo Environmental Park is an exciting place to learn, unparalleled in the South West, with:

• Purpose-built Education Centre
• 80 acres of Zoological Park and Botanical Gardens with plants and animals from across the world
• Access to on-site nature reserves

Our education programme has been established for over 50 years and is staffed by a highly professional team of Zoo Education Officers with environmental degrees, teaching qualifications and a variety of field and career experiences in sustainability, environmental conservation, animal management and teaching.

Programmes and resources are National Curriculum and qualification linked and designed to support cross-curricular delivery. All age ranges are catered for, from Early Years to Higher Education, with provision for SEND and gifted and talented requirements.

You can choose from a menu of taught sessions, bespoke structured learning days and residentials, or lead your own teaching with support from our trails and activity packs.
