Come and work behind the scenes at one of Britain's top zoos with our highly qualified and dedicated staff. But be warned you will be expected to ‘muck in’ and ‘muck out’. This is not just a chance to meet some of the animals close up, this is real work!
How you will spend your day
This is an example of your day and is subject to change without notice. We cannot guarantee which animals you will be working with.
9.00 On your arrival you will be met by a mammal keeper
9.15 Start work in the mammal department
10.00 Time to stop for a well earned cup of tea
10.30 Continue working in the mammal department
11.30 Move to the bird and reptile department
1.30 Break for your lunch
2.30 Back to the bird and reptile department
3.30 More work in the mammal department
5.00 Time to go home and put your feet up!
How much does it cost?
