Rhinos, cheetah and small antelope are the focus of our work in Zimbabwe through research and education programmes, and in Sulawesi we are actively working on a conservation programme to save the critically endangered Sulawesi crested black macaque. At home we play an important role in conserving native species such as hazel dormice, cirl buntings and whitebeam trees.
When you visit us, you directly contribute to this vital work, but we need to raise more money to help animals and endangered species around the world.
So much to see, beautifully laid out and loads of interesting information on all the animals.
It is clear that the zoo is committed to conservation and reducing their carbon footprint.
The lemur wood is a magical experience
